Round Belly Mission Statement
Round Belly will offer high quality organic clothing in maternity, women’s,
children’s and other underserved clothing markets.
By so doing we will be building families, the earth and local communities. Fiber
and clothing can be a corner stone of communities. Like the quilting bees of old we
will draw on the talents of each of us to produce something wonderful in society.
Round Belly Vision Statement
Round Belly envisions a world where everyone works for a livable wage, has access
to good health care and takes extra good care of the Earth.
We will build our supply chains to pay the farmers enough to encourage continued
organic farming practices, to allow weaving and knitting to be done in America, to
provide jobs in local settings and build up the local communities.
We will build our distribution chains to make available organic clothing for
everyone. We will pay fair wages, encourage environmental thinking and raise up
a generation that looks for heros in the everyday practices that are good for the
earth and the community.

Round Belly believes families are beautiful and central to a good life that is in
harmony with Mother Nature. We will do what we can to promote positive family
values in all our media, advertising and correspondence. We will also have many
programs for our employees that will help them have a strong and happy family.
Some of these programs are flex time, child care (when possible) in or very near
work, livable wages and health care benefits.
Earth Care:
Round Belly believes that taking care of the Earth is the only choice we have for
our children (and grandchildren) to survive. We will take care of Earth in every
way we can. We will use sustainable power, recycled paper, compost or recycle
waste and be careful and wise in all chemical applications (if we use them at all).
We will use new technologies to reduce our need of fossil fuels and structure every
thing in our business to be good and sustainable in the long term.

through the community, employing local persons and supporting good and
worthy works through out the community.
