| OFFICIAL INSTRUCTIONS Hand wash at 86 degrees F. Do not soak, do not run, do not brush or wring. Simply dip gently into the water and rinse thoroughly. Wrap in a towel to express any excess water. Pull in to shape and leave to dry naturally. Do not bleach. Iron if necessary with a medium heat on damp cloth with steam 280-320 degrees F. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. |
| What I Do (wool washing for a large family) I wait until we have a pile of dirty woolens and then I load the washer and set it to "hand wash". I add in about 1 tablespoon of the wool wash. When the washer is done ( I had to run it twice last time. The first time the woolens soaked up all the water and didn't have a chance to wash) take each piece out and gently pull into shape and I draped them over my chairs to dry. |
